MARIA RELOS

Attorney Maria Relos

Ever since I was a young girl, I always knew that I wanted to find a career that would allow me to help those who may not be able to help themselves. I've always felt a strong connection with my community and have had a constant drive to find a way to positively impact my community in any way that I can. That's why when it came time for college, I decided to study business and human services at Santa Clara University, so I could remain close to home while searching for a career path that could allow me to help people and give back to my community.

As my senior year approached, a friend and I decided to take the LSAT, otherwise known as the Law School Admission Test, just to see how we would do. To my own surprise, I did very well on the test and soon after was admitted into the Santa Clara University School of Law. It was at that moment that I decided that I could use the legal profession as a means to serve my community in an impactful way. I also felt a strong desire to be an advocate for the Spanish community around me that was consistently underserved and unrepresented.

As a fluent Spanish speaker, I felt like I had a real opportunity to advocate for a large portion of my community that was not only underrepresented but had few reliable resources for legal counsel and support.

Helping others in need and serving my community has always been important to me. I’m lucky enough to have a job where I can do both on a daily basis.

Since graduating in 2004 I have worked hard to focus my expertise on real estate, business, and estate law. With over 10 years of extensive knowledge and experience, I have been assisting clients in a variety of matters including probate, construction defects, real estate, and business litigation. Over the last decade, I've represented clients across the real estate spectrum, including commercial and residential buyers and sellers, homeowners associations, contractors, brokers, and agents.

In the area of estate planning, I've worked with administrators of estates during the probate process, and I have a wealth of experience setting up wills, trusts, and family estate plans. Through it all, I believe that providing a high level of personalized service is what allows me to make the needs of my clients my number one priority. I love what I do because it offers me the opportunity to work with the members of my community and the surrounding areas to assist them through complex legal situations when it can be challenging to find experienced help and support that you can trust.

I'm proud to be an advocate for my clients, and I aim to provide every single client that walks through my door with the highest level of legal counsel and representation, while also treating them with the respect and dignity that they deserve.
